Hello, my name is Christina Shaw. I am a Christian, mother, wife, and a devoted educator. I am also a professional student, because I am a professional and a constant learner. I love to learn from my students, colleagues, family, and professors. I have been teaching for 10+ years ranging from preschool to upper elementary. I have taught in a public school, outside of Houston, Texas, for seven years. I have taught Kindergarten, Third Grade, First Grade (4 years), and I am currently teaching Fourth Grade. Our elementary school is from Pre-K to 4th grade and I love being the upper classmen of the school. I enjoy the learning and the deeper understanding that comes with upper grades. I think I finally found my perfect grade!
I am currently a graduate student and expected to graduate in August 2012 with a Masters of Education with specialization in Advanced Literacy from Concordia University-Austin.
